Do you have an iPad but never had time to make art with it?
grab your ipad, it's time to make some art!
I bought an iPad Pro a couple of months ago and had good intention to learn how to draw on it. I bought the courses. I took the classes. And then... BOOM 💥 life got in the way! Sounds familiar? Hey, this is a judge-free zone. Who had to deal with a water leak and move house in under a month? Me! 🙈
Well, I am soooo ready to reset, restart and make art on my iPad again. But instead of doing it on my own, I thought, why not invite everyone to the party? Not only will it be fun, but it will keep me accountable too.
I've also invited some friends to share their tips and ideas on how they use their iPads cos they're pretty savvy with it. In fact, you may know them: Stacie Bloomfield, Cat Coq, Lisa Bardot and Brooke Glaser (I know, I know... I think they're amazing too).
During the month long art challenge, I'll bring a friend on Zoom once a week to have a chat about how they make use their iPads to make art, their drawing processes AND how they make a living with it. You are more than welcome to drop in on the 30 minutes call and ask questions.
What's it gonna cost you? Well, quite literally nothing.

okay, i'm going to be honest and be first to admit that this is me ☝🏼
I'm not one to set rules when it comes to art making and that means you are WELCOME to join the art challenge and create with any medium you favour even if you don't have an iPad.
If you're love using watercolour, gouache, Adobe Illustrator etc. to create, then use that. Heck, use a pencil if you want to. As long as you are committed to making art, I'm not going to stand in your way.

“but what if i don't have an ipad?”
If life gets busy and you miss a day or three, it's all good. We're going to take a deep breath in, give ourselves a hug and say, "It's okay", then, exhale.
We'll pick up the apple pencil (or brush) and try again.
The whole point of this is to have fun, (slowly) build our art muscles and have rest days if necessary. There's no need to go big or go home here. We'll leave that gym bro mentality at ... the gym.
Let's be okay with that.
